About Chris GordonChris was born and raised in NY. In 1991, Chris moved to Oregon to finish a bachaelor’s degree and to enjoy living in the beautiful Northwest. Although both his Mother and Grandmother practiced yoga, it was here in Oregon that Chris discovered yoga for himself. As a yoga instructor Chris learned from his students and deepened his studies with a wide variety of teachers most significantly, John Friend in the Anusara Yoga style. Chris has gone on to teach workshops both in Oregon and Minnesota. Chris’ practice of yoga deepened his awareness of the body and eventually guided Chris to the healing arts field. In 1999 he began his studies at Oregon School of Massage. His focus in school was Thai Massage and Deep Tissue massage. Since finishing the massage program at OSM Chris has continued his studies in bodywork and has over 250 hours of training in Thai massage.
